Nasri Beats Vidic In Player of The Year Poll

Who is Your Premier League Player of The Year?

The poll is finally over, and the winner of the DBS Football player of the year poll is Arsenal's Samir Nasri. The poll was put up on the blog just after the short-list for the Player of the Year award was released, and despite Arsenal's poor and disappointing end to the season, the French midfielder came out on top, beating Manchester United's Nemanja Vidic by 159 votes.

Vidic was followed by Scott Parker, who despite his best efforts, failed to keep West Ham in the Premier League this season.

The large turnout for Nasri and Vidic would be explained by the fact that the majority of visitors are supporters of Arsenal and United, and would vote their own players.
