Andre Ayew: "Arsenal are a great club"

Marseille's 21 year-old winger, Andre Ayew has praised Arsenal among rumours they may be interested in signing him as a replacement for the soon to be former Arsenal player, Samir Nasri.

Arsene Wenger has set out on a mission to find replacements for Nasri and Fabregas, who are thought to be close to agreeing moves away from Arsenal, and the Ghana international attacker is said to be on Wenger's list.

After playing in his sides 2-2 draw with Auxerre on Sunday, Ayew said:
"Arsenal are a great club, but I am not thinking about that at all. I am focused on the game and Marseille, what happens, happens."
The player appeared 50 times for Marseille last season, scoring 13 goals and assisting 3. He has an £11.5 million release clause in his contract with the French side, and according to the Metro newspaper, Arsenal are preparing a bid for him and French midfielder Marvin Martin using the money from the Cesc Fabregas sale to Barcelona. We will see.
